Fare between two stations
What does this trip cost?
Pick any two stations on LRT-1, LRT-2, MRT-3 or PNR. Trips across lines are priced leg by leg, with the walk between them. The numbers come from the same files as the TrainsPh app.
How a trip is priced
- Each line charges for the stations you ride between. LRT-1 and LRT-2 use the operator's fare matrix, and MRT-3 uses five distance bands.
- A Single Journey ticket on LRT-1 and LRT-2 costs the beep fare rounded up to the nearest ₱5.
- Every interchange is outside the fare gates, so a trip across lines is two tickets, and the fare is the sum of the legs.
- Discounts in force apply to each leg. When two apply, only the deeper one counts, and the result is rounded down.
- PNR prices each of its services from its own fare matrix, so a fare exists only between two stations of one service. Where PNR has published no fare, or no one train runs between two stations, the lookup says so instead of a price. Where PNR trains run.
Where the lines meet
You walk between these on the street or a footbridge, and tap in again on the other side.
- D. Jose (LRT-1) to Recto (LRT-2): about 5 min walk
- EDSA (LRT-1) to Taft Avenue (MRT-3): about 7 min walk
- Araneta Center-Cubao (LRT-2) to Araneta-Cubao (MRT-3): about 10 min walk

The app plans the same trip offline and wakes you before your stop, so you can sleep on the train or keep your eyes on your phone.
