Transfers

Every interchange in Metro Manila is outside the fare gates. You tap out, walk, and pay a new fare on the other line.

  • EDSA on LRT-1, about 7 minutes on foot. Covered pedestrian walkway at street level across EDSA; published range 5-7 minutes. Slower in heavy rain.
  • Price a trip that changes here, from Taft Avenue to any station on the other line.

Which car to board

  • The front car is reserved. Its first 2 doors are for seniors, PWDs, pregnant riders and anyone travelling with children; the next 3 are for women. Guards enforce it on the platform.

How to pay

Besides beep and a Single Journey ticket, MRT-3 gates also take bank cards and phones that pay by tap, and GCash QR. Only some gates have the new readers. beep works at all of them, so look for the marked gate before you queue.

Around the station

The station is connected to Metro Point Mall and Giselle Plaza. Winston Lodge and a branch of Hotel Sogo are two of the many motels found along EDSA near the station.
